Most spatulas are two parts pretending to be one.
A silicone head pushed onto a separate handle leaves a join — and the join is exactly where batter creeps in, where grease dries grey, and where, over a hot pan, a glued seam can give. You scrub it, and it never quite comes clean.
This one removes the join entirely. Head and handle are a single moulded piece of silicone, so there is no seam to trap food and nothing to come apart in the heat. It goes in the dishwasher and comes out with nothing left inside.
